Sway Bar End Link

I'm going to have Phoenix Performance do some work on my car. Part of the work will be installing adjustable anti-sway bar end links and corner weighing (stock Z06 anti-sway bars). The car will be used for both driver's ed type events and on the street. I had ordered new anti-sway bar end links from Vette Brakes, which I believe are the same as the end links in the T1 kit. Now I see that the Hotchkis end links are also Teflon lined. Do you guys recommend I switch to the Hotchkis links since my car will be both tracked and street driven? I'd like to keep squeaks to a minimum. I understand that both the T1 and Hotchkis links will require additional maintenance.

Thanks for your input.

Hey MySR71,

Did you get her to the shop yet ?

I've got the T1 endlinks, driving on them for 2+ weeks with some rain driving.

Squeek - Squeek - Squeek, time to get under there with some Super-Lube dry film spray and shootz those mice.

I'd say try the teflon lined.

It is going in at the beginning of October. Kurt and crew are busy with the Run Offs this week. Next week they need to catch up.

Thanks for the input.

I talked to Sean at LAPD. He said that the Hotchkis end links were definitely not as heavy duty as the T1 pieces. He does not recommend them for use with T1 bars. I don't have T1 bars now, but don't want to buy something that I may have to replace later.

He mentioned that if you clean the T1 pieces and grease them nicely, they won't squeak. At least for awhile. I think I'll stick with my original plan, the T1 end links.

LG makes teflon-lined T1 endlinks. Equally heavy duty to the T1 endlinks and silent. I have them on my car and am very happy with them.
