i keep reading your posts of you zo6 owners smokin vipers..lol.
c'mon. unless your car is heavily modified and your racin a stock viper we all know the real outcome of a race. never have i beem beaten by a vette. not saying i never will, but not unless it puts more than 650 to the wheels. you also have to realize more than 90%of the vipers you see on the road have ZERO mods done to them. the other 9 % have intake and exhaust. the last 1% will make you want to trade in your car and buy a real performer.
aren't you guys sick of seeing your car 20 times on a 1 mile drive?? geez i never have that problem...lol.i can probably drive 200 miles and never see one. exclusive= viper zo6=everyother car on the street.
now lets hear about the races with vipers with similiar mods. not the ones where you have a blower and the other guy is stock.
God, I hope that nobody takes the bait and justifies this ding-dong by arguing with him. You can tell by his spelling/gramar that he is obviously about 10 years old. Back to the LEGO forum, young'n.

This thread seems to be a nice warm place from all the flaming thats going on.
Anyhow, we all know stock for stock the 405hp and significantly lighter Z06 (3118 lbs). Is well matched with the 450hp viper GTS (3476 lbs). I'm fairly confident that the viper might have a higher top end because of it's higher torque. But lets also not forget that the Z06 has better gear ratios than the viper so it can take more advantage of the horsepower. Stock for stock the cars are almost dead even and it really comes down to who is the better driver.
I can't on the other hand comment on the 2003 ACR Viper. At 500 horsepower and 500 lbs of torque I'm sure it would be a force to be reckoned with.
Vegas has a nice track. You talked your shit, now post a vid clip or time slip of that viper. Here in Miami I see just as many Vipers as Z06's. I see less 360's. Does that mean you should sell your Viper and get a Italian car? What is your point. Go to the Viper brds, a stock Z will lap a stock Viper. Regardless of your power your still "FAT". Sorry, overwieght.
Bring it on son!

Heh,
This guy is one of the reasons I don't buy a Viper. The other would be that the new ones look like a Celica and can't keep their @$$ end from coming around on them... Even at the track.
No thanks, wouldn't wanna piss away $ 40 Grand on a few tenths of a second. There's more to this, than just street light to street light- leave that to the ricers...
