Those of you with Tranny and/or Diff coolers...

I ran my DRM Tranny cooler for a 3 day event at a track and since then I hear something that sounds like gravel running through it. I sounds like a light ticking or clicking sound - random, like small pieces of something hitting metal. It definately comes from the pump area, which is behind the left-rear brake vent, mounted to the frame. It doesn't matter if the car is parked or moving.

Anyone experience this?

Are you running a filter? If not, you should otherwise you'll toast those pumps in no time. I put a filter in with a Jiffy-Tite connector (see left side of pic):

What is a good source for the filter and fittings? I got the cooler from DRM - would they have it. Maybe Earl's?
