That looks like alot of fun! Great video.....Do you ever get worried taking the turns with street tires that you'll slip out like turn 11, but worse? Since you have the camera mounted inside, may I suggest a "wide angle" lens? You see so much more perspective. Check this video link. This is what a wide angle lens can achieve from basically the same location. Mine was just aft and in between the two seats. (Basically, right over the hump) Again, GREAT VIDEO! I felt like I was in the car with you, reaching for the "Oh SHYT" handle a few times....Hahahahahaha
ps...This is NOT a Thread HIJACK so, don't hit me up with that shotgun toting vigilante, ok? Hahahahahahaha

Very cool video. I hear nothing but good things about that track. I will definitely be going there in the next few months.
For the Bay Area T-Hill and Buttonwillow are both good, lots of run off and cheap. Both tracks are usually less than $200 for a day. Infineon has little run off and Laguna costs a lot and has a severe noise limit. Both those tracks are usually over $200.
Great job! T11 is a slow turn, and it catches folks going in just a bit too hot, or jumping on it before the car is finished rotating. You did an excellent job of recovering the car and carrying on.
I watched the video without audio, so I didn't have a good sense of where/when you were applying throttle. Generally, you looked smooth, and 2:10 is a respectable time for a street C5 on street tires, with a driver that probably doesn't have hundreds of laps at T-hill.
GR8 white: Have a .45 wide angle lense, camera is mounted as far back on the harness bar. Would like to see A pillar to A pillar--that would be awesome!! Nice 1/4 mile vids-thanks.
Bowtie: I know I could have gotten down to 2:08's, it was my second time at the track, and only my second session before the clutch went out. I was driving with traction control off-much better car feel. The car lets you know what you can and cannot do. Turn 11 in 3rd was alot less drama, the torque pulls you through just fine. Maybe see you there sometime. Buttonwillow on 11/27.

Was your camera zoomed in a little? The angle looks narrow. Just curious so you could get much more video for viewers pleasure.
