Tire Screech

When you're driving on track and are either oversteering or understeering, do you find there's a difference in the sound of your "tire screech"? EG, when you're oversteering does the tire screech sound different from when you're understeeriing or is it all the same sound?

When you're oversteering, the rear tires are skidding. When you're understeering, the front tires are skidding. The tire sizes and load distributions are different, so the sounds will be different, too.

But you shouldn't need to hear the sound, over/understeer is something you should feel in your SOTP (and on a wet track, there won't be any sound). So don't worry about the sounds, focus on what the car is actually doing.
