It is almost inpossible to have a perfect tire that meets the requirements of all 4 types of driving; street, AutoX, track and RAIN.
The stock GY F1 SC are good attept but a compromise. They are a good DRY street tire and a good intermediate track tire to be used only in misty track conditions with NO standing water. On the track you will be a good 4-5 seconds A LAP slower than a race tire shod car. You will be able to keep up in the mist but will be in the wall in heavy rain and standing water. I repeat in the wall. I will not run my car on the track on GY F1 SC's in heavy rain or standing water. ARMCO is harder than fiberglass!
The GY F1 SC's are not a bad tire for AutoX but here you will be giving up 2 seconds a run and 1 second in AutoX is an eternity.
The other thing to consider is that to be conpetitive in AutoX or post reasonable lap times at the track you will need to be running a compettition alignment. This plus pushing the car to the limit will wear out the GY F1 SC's very quickly. So why ruin a $500 tire when you could have a better purpose built tire on the car and be going faster and handling better? My recommendation is to keep the GY F1 SC's on stock rims and use them on the street. This will save you money in the long run and maybe save your car and your life.
Invest in an extra set of rims that are lighter and a touch wider than stock and have the proper offset built in (or 2) ((I actually have 5 sets)) and buy specific purpose built tires.
For AutoX I recommend A3SO3 Hoosiers on CCW rims. The difference is night and day. You'll be much happier, faster and safer and will not be tearing up good street tires. These are DOT approved but can not be driven on the street. Khumo also makes a good tire and is competitive. They are a bit cheaper and last longer. They have come out with a newer softer compound but I do not think it will out wear a Hoosier now. The Auto X tires can be used on the track but will wear quicker and can not handle that much heat. they are only good for 5 laps at a time before the need to cool down and will be gone in a weekend.
For the track I like either Hoosier R45's or R35's, R3S03's or GY racing slicks or their DOT track tires.
For rain I like GY's ZR-S "S" compound tires are Formula ! based and used on the World Challenge cars. These are a very soft compound rain tires and are sticky even in the rain. BUT they will wear away quick in the dry and are expensive. So I use them sparingly. They are great in heavy rain and standing water. only come in 17" sizes.
