Thank you for your opinion.
I noticed that you chose to personalize your first response with some rather acerbic vibes yourself.

It just my opinion, and was wondering if others felt the same. It was not intended to be outwardly rude and if offense was taken, I obviously apologize if this was the result.

I guess I just keep clicking on these posts that say there is a video of some track time and I see drag strip runs. Its a labeling problem IMO. The z06 was designed for a racetrack, go run on one!

I think having the opinion that roadracing is the only true form of racing is fine, even though I suspect it is very controversial. However voicing that opinion on a thread where a guy is discussing his latest drag racing results just seems very wrong to me! Kind of like patting a guy on the back at the same time that you punch him in the mouth.

Torched02 thought your statements were "tongue in cheek", but I've seen some of your previous posts and I knew you were dead serious.

Roadracing is a very exciting experience and a lot of us have done it on multiple occassions. Drag racing can also be very exciting as well and it really boils down to personal preference.

Is this members' thread the appropriate place to argue the virtues of one type of racing over the other....I think not!

I see your point, and agree. My bad, Zlicious.

But to clarify, I never said roadracing is the only form of racing. In fact, I totally agree that drag racing is, indeed racing. I was only speaking to the semantics of the word "track."

I think a 1/4mile straight bit of road is a "dragstrip" not a "dragtrack." Again, just my opinion here! Cheers.
