All I can say is wow! For $350 this is a must for anyone who tracks their Z...I found it made a huge difference. Where bumpy corners used to throw the car up and bounce you around while you'd wait to apply throttle, now you can drive right through it and get on it way sooner.
I had loads of fun at our track, one of the guys had a new Porsche GT3, sweet car, I was able to hang with him pretty well...

Does it get rid of the 'hover'??? If you don't follow--never mind, you'd definitely know it if you felt it...
I just put mine on, my next track events are the next 3 weekends. I'm hoping the 'hovercraft' will be left @ home w/ the '02 shocks

I have thought about this also.... Since I cut my front bushings, Sebring 1 feels like a mogul field.... I am going to raise it bac up and slip new bushings back in and go max lowered with 04 shocks.
GMPARTSDIRECT (supporting vendor)...
79.24 for the rears
67.50 for the fronts
Not bad a bad way to invest $293.48 + ship.
Q. Do the 02-03s definitely have a distinct part number than 04s? I would hate to think you order these and don't get an older shock.

Joe,
Why don't you just put some Sachs T1 shocks in your car. It will save you money in the long run. After you have a cage welded in you won't have to sell your 04 shocks and go out and buy T1 shocks.
By the way, my sources in T1 racing do tell me that the T1 is a better shock for purely track use than the 04 shock. Probably a little too stiff for daily driver, so 04 shock would be a good compromise for those that daily drive their cars. And everything I have read does indicate the 04 shock is much improved over the 02/03 shocks for track use.

I agree with Brad. Get the Sachs T1 shocks. They arent that bad on the street either (IMO). I drove back and forth to Seattle (from Portland) a couple times, with the full T1 kit, and it was fine.
