Many of you complain about traction problems , its all in the practice , a process of elimination , smoking tires , smoking clutches , just when you think you have it all down up in smoke you go ,i used to wonder how guys slip off the road and loose it , well the other day i was out practiceing hole shots and i really learned something , i came out with t/c off at 4000rpm ,started to slide and wouldnt get off it , power shifted second crossed the on coming lane over the grass and a side walk and almost in the woods , still stayed on it till i powered back on road .

my son turned white ,just a litte NY driving . my drag radials had 30 psi and had picked up some sand ,

that was only half the problem , to correct this mess i alterd my tire pressureand my clutch release . Reguardless of rpms i let clutch off the floor till i feel it start to engage then i bring the rs up , when i have it right i fast release not slip keeping throttle position the same not flooring it till you feel front end lift then you have hooked , with method i have eliminated spinning and overheating clutch ,

i have practiced this over and over , even on the street you will hole shot everyone , your confidence will soar and you will get even better , at the track i get 1.60 ft times constantly .
