I finally got a chance to run with my new BFG dr's. I'd say they made a difference in the launch capability:

the weather was ugly (87 deg, 88% hum, 79 dewpoint). Somewhere in the neighborhood of 2250 DA ft. My other mods are a magnaflow Xpipe with the stock cats, a k&n filter, and a bpp shifter.
