Very Cool Drifting Video - A must see

4 Wheel Drift

Take one look at this Video and you will understand why folks like myself take thier cars to the autocross or track.

What is fun is doing a four wheel drift in 4th with full throttle. I will leave you folks to figure the speed I am talking about.

This car is not about waxing it and taking it to Hooters. Break the trend !!!!!!!

Cool Video. The Hooters event I was at seemed like an autocross event. Some of the fellas can really drive these cars. I do wish more guys would do all the track events as well, but there's no lack of enthusiasm and spirited driving with this crew.

I am beginning to question spirited driving on the street. The more track events I do the less I think of "spirited street driving".

On the track... well simply stated you are on a race course. On the street spirited driving seems to be pretending to be on a race track. A sort of wishing I was there kind of thing.

On the track you screw up and there is a lot runoff room. Even the "curbs" are round. Even some of the walls are made out of tires. Can't say that of the street.

I am not here preaching about driving safe just passing on my thoughts after have spend a few miles on the race track wearing out too many tires, brake pads, rotors, etc...

No doubt Dave, racing is for the track. Waxing the car and meeting other vette guys out on the town is great also. Thats where you BS and get guys to go out and try running at the various tracks! Anyway these cars help bring good people together is ok in my book.
It's funny, as we speak, I have a post below begging someone to join me at the track.

Carry the torch!!!!

I ran into a bunch of Z06 folks at the track. What was so sad that the club these guys were invovled with wanted to rent the track and do a track event. Talking with my track buddies we all figure they would rent the track and sit in the grid talking about how fast they would be on the track.

I am glad folks like you take that approach. I bet when you get someone out on the track it is like a pusher give someone a drug. They want as much as they can get, and with the Z06, WOW

And I am not talking about road courses, they are what I like to do. Drag strips are cool in that again real time racing.
