Went to the track

First trip with my blower and new Exedy clutch. Previous best/setup was 11.96@118.54, idle launch, 379rwhp, TRAP/LGs/stock tuning.

Idle launch, spinning in 1st and 2nd, the car ran 11.30@129. Definately more in it when I figure out how to drive it with the new power.

Some pics...

Nice times, Wayne!!!

It does take some practice (still figuring it out myself) but you will be in the 10's in due time.

Your trap speed tells more than your 1/4 miles time does

Congrats, brutha

Mike

The 1/8 mile traps were broken in that lane today. I think I ran a 28mph 1/8 on another pass

Wayne,

Great pass, considering your 60' time. It's not easy getting all that power to the ground, but once you do...watch out, because you'll be well into the 10's.

How did it feel on the top end at that speed? Any movement up front? I ask because I was talking to a guy today who was running slicks w/ stock tires up front and hit 10.3 @ 129+ (H/C coupe on a 125 shot). He said it felt like it was getting a bit loose and he might have to get some skinnies up front.

Don
Don, if your talking about Mike with red coupe, he actually has a 383 with 3.90 gears and nitrous running 17' et streets. (automatic).

The car was rock solid, but I was on drag radials. From my experience running bias ply tires on other cars, it will move around a bit on the top end.

Nice numbers. There is definitely more to be had there. A bit more practice, and you'll be in the 10s.
Nice reaction time BTW.

Nice reaction -- any more caffeine and you'd have red lighted!

Great R/T, I think you need to give some members some advise on how to cut the light.
