whats needed for 11.30's

what do i need to start saving for , roll cage , fire suit.

NHRA requires a 5 point roll cage for cars faster than 11.49.
Most NHRA tracks are pretty strict about that rule. Since you are already there, probably should start thinking about one.

what about a jacket , sucks when you go faster , then you need to spend money to go slower with all the weight you add

Not to sure about the jacket, but I think its necessary if you get into the 10's. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me about the current rules will chime in here. Last time I had a car that was in the 10's was in the late '60s and things were ALOT looser then!
