Gutting the pre-cats will help you...as long as you don't get an engine code. And if you do, you just may want to get some rear O2 simulators, so that the computer thinks all is well.
I don't think any cat-back on a relatively stock car is gonna add much HP under the curve...maybe a tiny bit of peak HP on the top-end.
If the shifter allows you to drive more aggressively, then it will help a little, too.
All in all, I'd be happy with .1 second improvement in the 1/8mile time given _identical_ track/weather conditions as to when you raced before.
