This is a short in car video of the #2 Boos Performance Corvette WC car which I co-own and which is also owned and driven in this race by John Boos. The video is of the start of the race. It was a wild start. You'll see it go into the pea gravel and drive out. What you can't see is that it was forced off the track. http://www.boosperformance.com/video..._start_med.wmv
I'll have to try that next year. We are contemplating putting in a big cube pump gas motor for open track events that would be about 100 more rwhp and 140 more rwt.
It was fun trying to compete against factory teams and wealthy privateers. We parked our pickup truck and trailer next to their Nascar style haulers.
That's how I felt even racing in SCCA T1 club racing.
My hats off to you guys for running with the big boys. My goal is to run in that series someday and to see guys like you out there keeps that dream alive. Thanks.

Z06'ers: Just finished watching the two additional videos on the Boos site. If you liked the first one you will like these as well. Great fun! Still leaves me with wanting more. I am going to have to go to one of these races.
With a standing start, a few car always stall on the launch.
That is just sad. I'm also suprised that the instant desicion by many drivers to go around the stalled starters didn't result in more sideswipe or even rear end collisions.
