My buddy John (MA ZO6) had an opportunity to try out his new Z on the track. Now most sane owners wouldn't set foot on the track with only 600 miles showing on the clock. Not John, this guys loves to open her up to see what she'll do and what better place than the track. No stray dogs, no on-coming traffic and most importantly, no cop's.
He even has the OEM exhaust mod switch on the visor so he can control the sound levels. He's still not satisfied with OEM exhaust even with the flapper open, so a B&B is on order.
He will be at Watkins Glen next spring to kick off the new track season.
So, here is enjoying his new car as it was meant to be driven, putting the power to the ground.
Wonder if Big Brother from the General is watching...Could there be a refused warranty discussion in the future? I certainly wouldn't advertise being on the track, specially at 600 miles.

That's what we like to hear!!! Sounds like your buddy will fit in very nicely here! Sign him up, put the pedal down.
Nice pics. Is it my imagination or is there one hell of a lot of brake dust on the front wheels?

Oh, I would blur out the plates on the car so the dealers don't know who it is.
I'd be more concerned that the insurance company's would see.
I just got a "revision" to my USAA policy that I can't even be parked in the pit area of a track - no coverage.
I believe Dave Hill had stated several times that there would not be the issues of warranty work on cars that had been tracked. That might still need to be seen, but have to give the man the benefit of the doubt.
