Your thoughts on this wheel/tire combo

CCW 18x10.5f, 18x12r

GY 25.0x10.0x18f, 25.5x11.5x18r

Am looking to pull the trigger on this soon and figured I'd check w/ the experts here beforehand. My Nitto's are toast after 4 events and think it might be time for some real race rubber now that I have a trailer to cart the car to the track with. Also cheaper to get the used scrubs rather than $1k for new Nittos.

Also, you guys who run scrubs - how many events do you get out of them typically? Thanks, guys.

I think the rear rim might be tight on the brake duct. John at CCW set me up with 18x10.5 front 18x11.5 rear as the max without removing things.

I'm running 555R2's 285 front 305 rear and nothing rubs.

P.S. I'm no expert, that's why I asked John to make the recommendation.

Joe ask John to see what he sold me. We decided on these because there are a ton of tires available for that size rim. Sure they were 12" I need another set for next year.

Called CCW today and John was out of the shop until Friday. Why a 2nd set, John? Rains? Or to have spares at the track?

don't you have to remove the rear ducts to clear his 18x12" set up?
