Went to Sacramento Raceway today for the first time in the Z and soon gained an appeciation for the 60's some of you are cutting, I had to run through 1st at half throttle to keep the spinning in check. Anyway my best run was a 12.51@116.43 with a 2.04 60'. The only mods I have to date are Vortex, T-Stat and LS1 Edit.
Anyone giving any classes on how to launch a Z on street tires.
Actually, Reboot, there are some pretty good posts by a couple of our better 1/4 milers that give some tips on how to do a faster 60'. You might want to do a search. Ric (powershifter) has some especially good input.
BTW, 2.04 is a pretty good 60' for the first time. I didn't break 2.1 until my second outing.
