Z06 Wins SCCA T1 at the Valvoline Runoffs!

John is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waxed the Viper that was expected to give John a good race.

Today’s SCCA Valvoline Runoffs result in T1……………

2:00:53 PM, CHECKERED FLAG for No. 35 John Heinricy, his second-straight win in Touring One and his third National Championship overall. No. 2 Bobby Archer is second, 15.2 seconds behind, followed by No. 12 Bob Schader, No. 27 Tom Lyons and No. 3 Scotty White, who fell back a spot on the last lap.

John Heinricy, First place

"I have a lot of miles on this track since I first ran it in 1984. Lots of Nationals, and many endurance races in the old Escort Endurance Series and in the World Challenge. I don't have to spend any time learning the track so that can be a bit of an advantage. Phoenix Performance Cars put together a great car for me. It was a late decision to defend the title this year. The car was just great, I was very confident, the tires were great, and even though the track was a bit slick it was not a problem."
