I went to the track (E'town) with Rob last night to help him dial in the re-built clutch and a few other mods (non-engine related) he just put in. Track was pretty good, since they had an 8.50 index race and those cars were laying down some good rubber. Air was not the best...79 degrees with moderate humidity and a barometer that was below 30. I'm guessing at least a +1000 DA...definately not "mind shaft" air.

Long story short....10.34@132+ (1.49-60'). This car has the potential to run a 10.0x later this fall during our nice fall air here in the northeast.

Don, 79 is mine shaft air for us in the South.. Now lets see what the car will do in 90 degree temps...

But funning aside, great run..

Sorry...not my car...it belongs to Rob Zona (robz). It is running 100% N/A...though he's done a few things to really differentiate it from many other cars...all legal. The car is tagged and passed NJ inspection...totally street legal. Rob's goal to to try to be the first H/C stock bottom ended 346 to break into the 9's...we'll see this fall what happens.

I went 10.40@130+ in 90+ degrees(3000+) da a few times.
Once was at pinks all out.
It should go 10.3x's in heat but I won't pull out all the stops until the fall.

Don had the video camera but we couldn't get it to power up, sorry.
(sent it in to get repaired yesterday BTW).
We will get videos of faster runs, I promise.
My car is a stock BE 346 heads/cam car.
I did manage a PB mph in the 1/8 mile= 106.52mph.
Pit, I will give it a shot.

Car ran really great last Friday, for sure. Of course Rob did say he got a little bit of a "wake up" on the third run when he power shifted from 3-4 and the car got a bit squirly up top. I couldn't see it, but I trust what Rob said. He got it to recover, stayed with it and managed his best run of the night.

That 106.5 mph in the 1/8th is no joke...that just gives you some idea of the car's potential.

This Saturday at etown.( am session). You can run it too. I'm the only stick car right now in the series.

Drove the car to work yesterday and headed to etown straight from work.

Some guy came up to me afterwards and said he had my last 2 runs on video and gave me his card. So, I'll get them up when I find them.

The second run I raced my friends APS TT C5 and got beat badly from start to finish.

The third run I manged a new personal best:
330'---4.95
1/8---6.50
missed 4th

1/8mph---106.98mph
