This is my friend Marty's car, who is unfortunately to sick to drive it, so his son Sean pilots it now.
While it isn't a Z06, it does use the same kit available for our cars. I wrote about this car a few weeks ago when it ran a 10.3@136 at a track rental. Well, yesterday was a good air day at E'town along with great track prep, so ECS decided to turn up the wick on this car by removing the restrictor plate (I think it saw 13lbs of boost). This car is a full weight (+3500lbs) coupe, running on DR's with skinnies up front. Mind you, with the exception of AR headers, a mild ECS designed blower cam and a Rodney built auto, the engine is
completely stock (yes...stock LS1 heads

). The car has well over 200 passes in the past 3 years of racing, and is driven to and from the track.

If you read thru the thread below you'll notice he wasn't even leaving hard...1.5x-60's. With 1.4x-60's I'm sure the car would go 9.7's@140+.
So for any of you considering an FI application and wanting to know "what's best?", you don't need twin turbo's or an A,B,C,D,F version supercharger to go fast.
BTW...the ECS Novi 2000 kit is on sale thru the end of November...you can save $400 on the most complete and relaible S/C kit on the market.
