Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

You aren't worried are you, Pitt?

I started a thread over in C5 Pit Road with some pix. Check Out These Jugs!

I'm having the work done at Xtreme and they made good progress today.
The heads went on, valve covers are on, working on headers and waiting for a new crank pulley. The crank pulley was placed off center by the last guy to work on it (long story, don't get me started) and trashed itself and the front main seal, so they'll pick up a new pulley and seal tomorrow and install that. I've had a minor vibration in the front end for awhile now and they found both front tie rods are FUBAR so those are getting replaced and I'll need an alignment after that. NicD is scheduled to dyno tune it tomorrow evening so we'll see what happens.

BTW, I was told that Dave, the owner of Xtreme Motorsports in Tempe passed away last night. I don't have any other details. RIP Dave.

I ain't skeered Pitt. More HP also means it's harder to drive your car.

Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

Maybe it's the heat. I don't even go to the track this time of year. October it starts to cool down here.

No heat problem for Ernie. He just changed gears...went from a 342...to like a 613 John Deer Tractor Diff and he can't get any traction...LOL. He said he was going for the Longest Vette-Wheelie Award. Better change those rear tires Ernie !!!

Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

Good grief ERNIE!!! Whats next you're gonna paint it green and yellow?

Do you have anyway to either, dyno, log some runs to look for knock and air fuel? bad gas? bad a/f sensors? Pittman loosened your torque converter bolts when you weren't looking?
