OMG Pit, never seen one that bad! I guess the 383 is definitely making some serious torque! What are you going to get for a new ring and pinion? I have the part # for the Getrag 3.73's if you need it.

I am going to try 390 one more time. I ask Robz what he is using..he said regular gears and the drivers hardened output. He puts more power to the ground than me...gonna have to learn to slip that clutch a little and keep more air in the tires. Probably going to kill my sixty till I Master it !! We had it out and apart in 3 hours...not too bad.

Removed Clutch Pedal Return Spring = 444 rwhp
Hey Pitt, I prolly should mention that I ordered a set of CNC ported and polished AFR 205's on Friday. Since I didn't pick up any HP with the FAST90/90 install, and since I'm replacing the LG streets with a set of 1 7/8 Kooks, (I ran over a softball size chunk of concrete on the freeway and it punched holes in both headers, crushed a cat and dented up the X-pipe) I'm hoping for 450 to 460 rwhp after the tune. So be afraid, come September, be very afraid.

Those are awesome heads..you should really feel the difference plus the Fast may actually work with that setup. Man, you sound like you had some Pit-Luck going on there. Sorry to hear of all that damage !!
I am afraid already..this gear thing has me worried I am going to pop another one before I get this clutch slipping down pat !! You can take me out right now without the heads

Hey Pit,
Looks like the western contingent is getting stronger every day!
All of my new stuff is here and going to start engine assembly this coming week! Looking to do the transplant mid-June. You better be afraid!

Uvettya, Jimbo...what is this...kick Pitt when he is down ???
The west may supprise us...and actually show up..
Uvetta, use lots of that red lock-tight on your head bolts and don't forget to torque them to 270 lbs..that way you don't need a head gasket and you can up your compression a little more.. If you need any more Pitt-tips..I will be glad to help out !!
All right guys...on my way back together soon. I just Ordered Cyro treated 390's...supposed to hold up to 1,000 rwhp. Lets see...hmmmm...will that be the same as mid 400 rwhp and a McLeod Twin clamping down at 5-6000 RPM ???
I have nightmares now...I just stage the first light..rpm is holding at 5000, I inch forward....lights come down and I mash the gas as I let out the clutch...all one movement.. and I just hear that SLAM sound...and then that sudden stillness as I still sit at the Tree with the motor at idle
