Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

Hey guys, the electric and cable finally came back on...thought I was gonna drink and eat myself to death.
Z is ready except for an oil change...I think it is Black enough now. Jimbo gave me a color chart of different shades of gray to black. He said when I hit the last and darkest color chip, go ahead and change it. It would break my new motor in better and seat the rings real good so I didn't get any ByBlow or something like that !! Jimbo is a good friend like that...always watching out for Team-Pitt !! He also said that my problem with tearing out the ring and pinion was I was launching too low of an rpm and not side stepping the clutch. He said Twins love the Side-Step. I think he was talking about the clutch anyway. He always did like TWINS

Ernie, Uvettya, Jimbo.....GET YOUR GAME ON...the water is receeding in Fl !!

Also, just got a PM from Mike (you know, the guy famous for belts ?? ) I have 4 more wheels for you guys to do battle with !!! Team Pitt is coming, so bring your friends, wifes & cameras to the Fest for a real show !! Hoooo-Hawwwww !!!

Pitt

How about during the night...we pay off the guard..then slap some 22" rims on Jimbo's 418 ??? I don't know, it may not work...then he may get some traction after all !

We better just plan on him having a heavy duty Hangover on raceday !!

... and traction is the key, brother Pitt. From a roll I can hang pretty good with the 600 hp guys until about a buck 30, but I'm through the traps by then at the drags. If they don't cut good lights and get the launch down - they'll be playing catch up. The faster your car is the harder it is to drive.

Jimbo, it's not Steve's fault !!! He has to be nice to me because he needs my tires on Drag day...LOL He will be back to normal soon enough. Besides...us Crackers Know Sh*t...just remember I said that..

Finally got to drive the Z without any rain...feels pretty dang strong now...the top pulls hard now that I switched manifolds !! Hope to run some 1/8 mile runs Saturday night. Problem is... they are doing the Bracket racing so I will get busted for the rollbar rule right away (unless I roll out some 2.2 sixty foot times). Don't know if they will let me test\tune after that or not.

Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

Ok Boys,
the Party is getting ready to start. A new Fast, fresh tune from the boys at EFIAlchemy, and we are ready to roll. I chose the weaker cam from Pete..still pretty choppy though. Idle is at 1050 rpm...vid below.

Get your slicks on Jimbo, Ernie & Steve...we are gonna rumble soon.

I guess this is gonna be Ernie & Pitt vs Jimbo (Zoomoo6) & Steve (Uvettya).

Re: Ernie King & Zturd beware

Holy crap! How about an update? What's going on with Jim's car?

I'm still in for the Fest. I duct taped my Corvette and you all can kiss my grits if you don't like it. I'm going to Z06 Fest!

Gonna take alot more than duct tape to fix mine! When you find copper particles in the oil filter that's never good news!
