Man, I wish we all lived close together so we could all jump in and pull this motor !! Sure sounds like a rod bearing with the knock coming and going. I had one do the same a long time ago. It held on for a long time before it let loose !!
Pitt
Well, Ernie and Steve on their way I guess. I am leaving Wednesday morning at 3 am so as to make it thru Atlanta without too much holdup. Never got to practice on this new Twin Clutch, so you guys should get a laugh or two at me trying to slip it on the launch. If I don't snap the rin/pinion again, I will laugh with you... at myself... We may have to let Jimbo take a run in our cars to pick him up !! Hell, if I had my old clutch, I would let him do the 6500 rpm dump in mine !! Couldn't hurt it with the single disk...wish I still had it with this new motor...there would be some low-low 1.4's on the table.
Come on to Bowling Green everyone...you may not ever get a second chance. Lets run our cars and party !!!
So whats the update everyone??? Lembo whats up with the motor?, Pittman whats your ET? Ernie do you remember what a track looks like?
See "SINGLE DISK CLUTCH HELP" for update. Ernie was down on power and ran an 11.22...Pitt cleaned up the NA section with an 11.11...
Nothing to brag about but I will take it !!! DA and Temp Sucked. Pic's and Vids coming soon.
Ernie won the best burn-out award !!! He is like a well oiled Machine...I swear.
Good to hear Pitt.... its a great start. Keep me posted on the driveability and how this clutch does at the track. Keep in mind my clutch lasted over 80passes at the track and several roll runs on the street.

My buddy Mark at EFIAlchemy has five hard years on his McLeod Twin in a Pontiac. He has run 10.9 with a 100 shot. That is the main reason I went with it...tired of buying clutches. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/DSC_3789.jpg
