After months of getting the new MTI 402 installed and dialed in, the car is finally complete. Well almost (you know how that goes)
After the install I had a serious tuning issues. The long term fuel trims were constantly changing and it turned out to be a crack in the LG Long tube header. My stage 3 differential did not hold the new Power and Torque (flat bed) and that was another set back. Switched to another transmission builder as well since the transmission was a weak link.
I want to thank Chris and Zack at MTI for answering the questions I had, Roger from Horsepower Sales for helping me get the drivetrain ready and Jeremy Formatto for finally dialing the car in so that it runs mild on the street and wild on the track. I could drive this car cross country.
My first 10.93 pass was the first and only run of the test day. I bounced off 2 and 3rd Rev Limiter on that run. Two weeks later and I ran a few more 10 second passes finally getting the best ET listed below. I did not get video of that yet but we are looking for some great drag racing weather in Jan-March and the cameras will be rolling.
I am still learning the new power and suspect there in a couple of more tenths left in her.
Best ET to date is 10.79 @ 126.70 with a 1.46 60' with a DA of 2100
