GMPP LSX Shoot-out Rules Update

Check this out if you're planning on running Drag Radial

Quote:
The LSX Rules committee has been involved in a discussion about the weight breaks afforded the Nitrous combinations in the Drag Radial class.
One of our priorities was to present a set of rules and stick to them. We wanted to avoid the politics involved when trying to set up a fair set of rules. As you know we need a baseline to establish where the combinations will run. After this year we can use the information gathered to fine tune the rules.
Unless we found a glaring disparity or mistake we have opted not to consider changes to the current rules.
I has been discussed that the Nitrous combinations are at a large disadvantage compared to the Turbocharged and Supercharged combinations.
The current rules are:

WEIGHTS:
Power Adder Max CID Base Weight
Nitrous Oxide 500 3200
Blower 500 3400
Turbo 500 3400

The change we are considering:
WEIGHTS:
Power Adder Max CID Base Weight
Nitrous Oxide 500 2900
Blower 500 3400
Turbo 500 3400

We need feedback from all racers. On Friday we will close our review of the comments posted on the various message boards.
Pease keep the comments to the subject so we can get the decision made as soon as possible. Any off topic posts will be moved or deleted.

Thanks
GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout Rules Committee
