Got a tune up to 545RWHP

Anyone want to comment on what kind of 1/4m ET to expect If I take it to the strip. I don't drag race, I road race, but the question comes up all the time.

Re: Got a tune up to 545RWHP

If you're an inexperienced drag racer with that much HP, stock clutch and street tires, you will probably have a hard time hooking up. You might get into the 11's if you can figure out the launch. Otherwise I would guess low 12's.

A word of caution... if the car gets sideways, get out of the throttle and don't get back on it. The race is over at that point and it's not worth hitting the wall. I've watched several of my friends do that very thing.

Have fun, play safe.
