Autox suspension upgrades

Question about suspension upgrades for autocrossing a 2002 ZO6 in NCCC high and low speeds. I'm interested in maximizing the autocross potential but having a car that's "tolerable" on the street for occasional use. Currently it has -2.0 front, -1.3 rear camber with the front toed out and back toe in slightly, it's lowered a bit and has bilstein sport shocks. Handles pretty good, but I'd like even better grip in turns for racing.
So...I'm in the market to upgrade tansverse leaf springs swaybars, bushings, etc. I've read the posts in this section and would like to spend less than 3K for a substantial upgrade.
I understand the sway bar may make the biggest improvement. Do the T-1 sway bars, adjustable endlinks plus polyurethane bushings make a good combination? This will of course be done in addition to cornerweighing, adjustment of camber, etc. which will obiously be done afterwards.
Springs? I've heard there are 2 main manufacturers. True? Who are they?
Any experience with transverse leafsprings such as Hyperco springs by LGMotorsports or Extreme Springs by VB&P or Corvette Central?
I've looked at this thread http//:z06.com from 2/25/2008 for some my decisions. he listed t-1 swaybars and poly/graphite bushings before spring upgrades...do these need to be done together for a "proper" setup?
Thank you for any info.

well,
the link to the "suspension-upgrades-lowering-=advice-94541/" wasn't allowed for some reason; however, it is listed under Z06Vette.com - Corvette Z06 Forum - Racing then the above " " section.

Re: Autox suspension upgrades

Go for a good set of DA shocks (you choice) but I have been using JRZs for the pas 5 year, and have put over 40k on them. Just had them rebuilt, and my tec ask: Why? They were in great shape. But other brands will works as well.

But they (DA shocks) have allowed me to use the car for both National Tour auto-xing and long distance road travel...Both are just a click away...I'm also running stock springs/swaybars with T-1 adjustable links front only (SCCA rules for SS). Remember too much camber can hurt you in braking/acceleration, but there are times that I wish I had more then the 1.75 neg in the front 1.25 rear, Tow adjusted to surface conditions (I have a marked Zero tow and will go in or out depending on course configuration), along with gas pressure changes in shocks, and damping/rebound. But it would suprise you just how little it takes to get what is need at times (one maybe to up on compression, and one to four on rebound)...Wheels/tires and tire pressures will really make or brake you (find out what is working for your brand of tire)

Sounds like you're planning on GP II classing ... if you don't have it, here's a link to the NCCC Rulebook for speed events ... check out the "Suspension" sub-section 2.7.1.4 on what's allowable ...

Re: Autox suspension upgrades

I'd highly recommend looking into the Pfadt Sport Shocks and Sway bars. I've been running their shocks and front sway bar on my Super Stock C5Z this year with pretty good success (won the Toledo ProSolo on 80 run tires). The sway bars are highly adjustable unlike the T1 sway bars. I'd say that the T1 front bar is probably too stiff for an autocross car. The new sport shocks perform on a level far above their price point. Aaron and Co. at Pfadt hit the nail square on the head with these shocks. You can't go faster for the $$.
