Installed harness bar in 04 ZO6

SCCA Rules require that I keep the org seat belt. Tried to run it behind the seat clipped in place but it binds the seat when it moves back and forth. Don't want to use org seat belt and new harness. Looking for just the clip without belt to put in place. Is there any other choice?

Re: Installed harness bar in 04 ZO6

I have a BK harness bar and just ran my 1st 2 events with it. I left the stock belt disconnected and didn't have any problem with it banging around or anything. My suggestion is to just leave it disconnected.

By the way, the Brey Krause lap belt mount work very well. Just make sure your harness lap belt can be adjusted short enough.

Re: Installed harness bar in 04 ZO6

I have used harnesses in my Vette for a couple of years; at any event, I have never had any problems leaving the stock seatbelt unbuckled.

Just leave it retracted position.
