Flag Raising Ceremony at Petit LeMans

One of the highlights from this pat weekend Petit LeMans was a ceremonial American Flag raising in the Corvette Corral just before the start of the race.

Returning ( Irag/Afghanistan war) Georgia National Guard members unfolded and then raised an American flag in a precise, military precision. GM VIP's Gary Claudio, and Tom Wallace were in attendance. They, like everyone else, stood in awe and repect as the ceremony took place.

Afterwards, I personally thanked several soldiers for their dedication and service to this great country of ours.

The group of soldiers were asked to walk thru the Corvettes in the corral and select one Corvette for their "Celebrity Choice Award."

Yours truly was thrilled and proud to receive that award.
