After driving thru rain for miles the skies parted to a beautiful day in Anacortes for the Majestic Glass Corvette Club all corvette show.

How many of my Z bruthas were there?

Zero.

Tomorrow is the 1400 car XXX Drive Inn Sping Opener Show and Shine in Issaquah.

With any luck I'll have the only Z there as well.

Pat,

I was not aware of the Anacortes event. However, I will be at the XXX drive in. What time wil you be there?

Hi Frank;

I was gone by the time you posted.

I only saw one other Z in the show; a new guy I gave a biz card to but there were several that came and went throughout the day.

I am sorry I missed you. I had hoped you could view my quad stinger installation. I am not exactly pleased with the visual result and would like your input.

The sound is LOUD inside and out of the car. Some interior panals go into resenance during acceleration. WILD! They might not stay on the car - wife issue.

I understand your feelings. The Borlas and in fact most muffler systems take some effort to line up correctly so they look proper.

I took one ride in Rob Sherrard's car who also has the Borlas and the over all interior resonance was too much for me. I had contemplated installing them behind my FLP system, but decided to keep the stock mufflers on. At my age I prefer a little less noise, at least until I floor it.

Frank, my wife has "issues" with them too. In fact her exact words were "I think I might need earplugs"

She did say they sounded good when she was driving behind me however so there may be hope.

I believe I will be "Borlaless" in short order. The Corsa X-pipe will stay, the stock TI system will go back on.

BTW, when is the next Northwest Z Bruthas next outing? I would love to run at what was SIR. Maybe this grampa might be able to get down to the end in less than 20 seconds!
