No one has any questions either? This event is well worth the money. All types of vehicles participate in this event. We even had a Ford Lighting truck run last April. It's great to be able to run on a Nationally known track with this great a variety of vehicles at one time.

I see you have classes based on what appears to be the drivers abilities. I also note that in the "Assertive" class, you have everything from Mini Coopers to Vettes. Will these be on the track at the same time? I would like to come, but I would be in the assertive class with a 600+ hp Corvette with a fully tuned track suspension on Goodyear slicks. The closing speed between that and a Mini Cooper would be greater than between an LMP900 and a Porsche in American LeMans racing. Any arrangements to handle such a speed disparity?

Yes, we emailed the owner of the Mini Cooper as soon as we received his request. At this time we feel from his return email that he will run with the Z06's and other extreme vehicles. He went to Road America this past weekend and he is going to give us his lap times, so we will have a better judgement of what class he is going to fit the best. The assertive group is a "Very Assertive " Group. To give a good example of this check out some of the video's by the Speed Style & Sound magazine...http://www.speedseekers.com/picsandvids.html

I don't know why this event doesn't get more recognition on this site. It was just awesome! Having Lou Gigliotti there was just icing on the cake.

We had a great weekend thanks to MFBA and SpeedSeekers. We put on 106 miles of track time over 4 sessions of about 20 minutes each on Saturday. (Check the track out at roadamerica.com ). We hit 140+ mph on the straights. Saw a few crashes and one car fire but we came back without incident. A very nice white 427 Cobra hit the wall, and a black Corvette Coupe tangled with a black mustang and then a wall after brake failure, and several guys went off into the gravel through the day. Very expensive days for some of those guys. I posted more than 60 pics here 2001 Vette at RA Sorry dial-up folks....
