Unfortunately not this year, but hopefully next. I really miss the track. I've been to a handful of Indy 500's (when I was in Bloomington at IU), but haven't had the chance to get back for the F1 race yet.

To those of you who have not been to Indianapolis Motor Speedway, you need to experience a race there in person!

Enjoy and hopefully the finish is better this year!

I have not seen the American Grand Prix but will be going next year. From what the drivers are saying. Its a pretty lame track. They need more difficult and challenging corners for it to be an exciting race. I will be rooting for Kimi never the less and praying Shumi gets a DNF.

wnet the first year....we had great seats...(friend at track is executive VP).....have had many chances to go back..BUT....the F1 race is BORING......pole position = winner.......

Give me Nascar...Indy style.....now that is racing....I will post on here a couple of photos from the Indy race of two years ago....I have a shot where two cars are going into turn one at 190+ and the gap between the outside cars back tire and the inside cars front tire could not have been more than an inch or two...enough that you can see the inside drivers head slightly turned looking at the closeness while the outside car the driver is looking ahead and down the track....now that is close racing!!!!!

Thats hilarious. You just opened a can of worms with me. I really dont see how low-tech boxes with 4 wheels making only left hand turns on an oval is racing. But I guess if you line up two turtles and have them battle it out to see who makes it to the pond first, you can call that racing too. The reason why Pole= winner is because Indianapolis is a lame track and there is not much room for overtaking and lead changes. To each there own. I can see how Nascar can be excited when two or even three cars are lined up next to each other on the last lap. Just not my cup of tea.

Its funny how anytime F1 is brought up on this forum someone else has to mention NASCAR.

The only thing that I agree with here is that Indy is a lame track for the USGP. It would be MUCH more exciting if they held it at Laguna Seca or Road America. Tony George (Anti-Christ) has all the money though.

Someone actually prefers to have 50 lead changes a race? What's so exciting about that? With big oval races, I just tune in for the last 5 minutes. That's all that counts anyways.
