The Connecticut Autocross & Rally Team, Inc. (CART) has just announced an additional Pocono date to their schedule. CART will be running a rather unique event on Sept. 29
CART will be using all three courses (north, south and east) all at the same time. Entries will be limited to 75 cars. Three groups of 25 cars each will run an hour each of open track time on each of the 3 courses. During the lunch break they will have a few parade laps around the tri-oval so those who would like to can see what it looks like to drive around the Nascar track. After lunch the club will have time trials on the north and east courses for those who would care to while those not doing the time trials can run on the south course. After the time trials all three tracks will be open for open track time and late in the afternoon a team relay event will be held on the north course while those not running the relay can continue running on the south and east courses.
