Alignment specs

Just thought I would run this by the experts. I wanted to make sure the car will be stable with these settings.

These numbers are strictly for DRAG racing

FRONT
Camber: -.25 each
Toe: +.05 each
Caster: ? any suggestions?

REAR
Camber: 0
Toe: +.05

My goal is maximum straight line speed without making the car unstable if I need lateral stability to correct.
Do you guys see any issues with lateral stability on the drag strip. Sometimes we get out of the groove and need that lateral stabilty to steer back in/ keep the car straight. Just not sure how these slight changes alter the cars straight line performance.

Also, the theory of the +toe is because as the car squats, I was told it creates more - camber and -toe thus having it slightly + will allow the contact patch of tires to be greater on the LAUNCH. What do you think?

My car is lower on stock bolts in front and lowered slightly more in rear with aftermarket bolts.
Any help would be appreciated.
Rob

Yeah, I was hoping guys like DJ could chime in. Drag racers seem to know very little about alignment. including me.
It's great we have the knowledge of these guys right at our fingertips.

Re: Alignment specs

For Drags: (and I am no expert on this as I am in AutoX or track set ups...as it is mostly hearsay from others)

Note: the rear tires will Toe OUT as the car squats under hard acceleration.

FRONT:
Camber = -1.0*
Caster = as much positive as possible without sacrificing Camber. Set equal with no Caster lead for road crown
Toe = 0.0", Neutral

Rear:
Camber = -0.5* to -0.75*
Toe = Toe IN 1/4" Each, 1/2" Total Toe IN

* = degrees

I would also run at least 3/4" Rake if not 1".
