I was curious why you guy are not tracking more to the left of the short front straight before you turn in? It looks like you go down the middle of the track and turn in from there.
I would think you would want to track left on go in from as wide as possible and then let it track back out on the exit.
Nope, there is nothing wrong with the track. You get no benefit / advantage from tracking wide, left side of the turn, as you enter the turn. (South 1). As you can easily see that by staying in the middle to track right you are able to take the advantage away from cars that swing wide to the left. Porsches tend to stay to the left because of the the way they drive. The Vetts can take it on the right. All you need to do is stick it in the corner and hit the gas - aim for the rumble strip on the left, and then back to the right for a quick lift to set the car up for S3 a nice left which throws you out onto a short straight for a very fast S4 to the left.
Going wide only benefits you when you are running in non race conditions. You can see the line as you watch the cars go around S1 setting up for S2 & S3.
Glad you all liked the video. I"ll get some more.
Duke1, you win some, you loose some, but my best overall full track is 2:37.65, wasn't yours 2:37.66 and... I have the print outs to prove it.
