Do you roadrace?

I been doing DEs for a few years now. I started doing them with a F150 Lightning. Moved to a '03 Must/Cobra. I got tried of chasing C5s around the track so I got a '01 Z last November. Best move I could have made. I am getting ready to do 3 days at Roebling Road at the end of September. One day with Seat-Time and two with NASA-SE. I now run in the HPDE3 which is a solo group with passing anywhere on the track with a point-by. It adds a new pucker factor when you are going through turn with someone next to you. I may try some TT next year.

I'm an admitted "Track Rat" - have only been doing HPDEs for 3 years now and am running in HPDE 3 / Solo - have approx. 32 track days between VIR, Summit Point, BeaveRun and Watkins Glen. I purchased my '04 C5 to place it on road courses and enjoy it as it was built to be driven - fast. I've been asked by NASA MA and Mazda Drivers instructors to enroll in their Instructor Clinic in 2008 - seriously thinking about it. Flying and road racing are my two favorite things!

Well, I guess I'm the "BlackSheep" here..I must say "I HAVE NEVER EVER DRIVEN A ROAD RACE COURSE...NEVER..."
I'm sorry guys..I'm just a DRAGRACER..I've been 5.30's at 270MPH in 1/4..
But, I HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR ROAD RACING THOUGH.

That's why I traded my vert in on a Z. Got to be too much trouble getting my rollbar bought off by every different club and track across the SE.
Shooting to get my TT license in June.
