Great Driving School w/Viper Days

I attended the recent four day Performance Driving School at Button Willow raceway and had a wonderful experience. The school offered classroom instruction in car set up, and LOTS of seat time with excellent instructors "in car", and debriefs after each track session. Instructors were Bob Blizzard, who I have personally seen drive a 1:19 lap (!) at Willow Springs, and Aaron Vannasche, who has a podium finish on the One Lap event. These guys are FAST! Skip Thomas runs Viper Days is a great guy who puts on a great event. [One day's proceeds even went to a fundraiser for a children's hospital in San Jose. Viper Days was presented with a formal thank you from hospital staff that weekend for having raised over $100,000!] The style of driving they teach is applicable to high horsepower cars like our Vettes ( and Vipers, of course ). I first experienced this organization at a one day event which I attended with Oli T. The instructor was Lou Gigliotti and the class was held at Willow Springs. I loved it so much I had to come back when they were in California again. It didn't seem to do any harm to Oli's driving either! They have upcoming schools at Mid Ohio and Sebring. I recommend them to any body wanting to have a really strong driving school experience. And rest assured Vettes are very welcome!
