They have events scheduled for August 2008 already! After watching the struggle at E-town to get any sort of road course done and knowing how things seem to generally proceeed in Jersey - or ...well...not proceed I think I'm almost flabbergasted.
VIR is great,a tad overpowering for some of us old timers.i wanna start packing the z for a weekend of HPDE there,i,m in trenton.the track will be ruled by those guys in creamridge ,NJ. they better build a bigger shop for all the work that is gonna come their way. oh yea i,m surprised it got done in NJ, but some yuppi will build a 750k house near it then sue about the noise
I have been keeping an eye on Thunderbolt and intend to put it on the calendar for this season. Certainly going back to Watkins Glen and as always VIR. I am also hearing (via investors not so much car guys) that a couple of hundred acres in upper Montgomery County Maryland is being assembled for a Motorsports Club. If NJ can do something like this, maybe the communist state of maryland could stand one?
