NOTICE: SCCA Rule Books available ON-Line

Starting in January 2005, all SCCA rule books will be available ON-Line in PDF Format (of course free of charge) at:
www.scca.org

This includes:
1. The National Solo II Rules (AutoX) which include all
- Classes and Appendix listings
- National Tour Format
- Pro Solo Format
- Solo II Roll bar/Roll Cage requirements
http://www.scca.com/Solo/Index.asp?reference=rules

2. General Competition Rules (GCR's) which include all
- GT Classes in cluding GT-1
- Touring Class Rules including T1 Rules and Car Spec Lines
- Club racing
- Solo I which includes high speed track, Time Trials and Hill Climb
- Roll Bar / Roll Cage Specifications
- Safety Requirements
http://www.scca.com/club/index.asp?reference=gcr

The PDF versions will be provided as a basic information source. As always, the actual applicable Rule Book (NOT the PDF version) is required and MUST be in-hand to Register, pass Tech Inspection and Check In for any National event.
(Likewise you also need the cars Service Manual.)

The new annual rule books (actual text) are available in January of each year and thereafter. Cost is @ $35 with a $10 discount to SCCA Members.

As always the Rule books are updated and changed on a monthly basis as published in the "Fastrack" portion of the SCCA monthly magazine "Sports Car". Fastrack is also available ON-Line in PDF format on the SCCA site (above). Each driver is responsible for updating his own rule book.

Note that a recent copy of the Solo II Rule book is 300+ pages and GCR's is 600+ pages. So you better upgrade your Adobe to the latest version, subscribe to Broadband, and buy a high speed printer and a couple of reams of paper....or just purchase the actual Rule books.

It is possible to download and print only specific sections of the rule book from the pdf format.
