Recently spent the week-end at Mid Ohio sportscar track with the Maumee Valley Porsche club. My 480 Lingenfelter kitted(2003) with Pfadt suspension and Wilwoods and Hoosier R6's vs. Porsches newest ceramic brake laden $150k super track car.Enjoy, I did. http://youtube.com/watch?v=T1k3AzDib7I
That's what I like about the car. Porsche decided to make it stand out from the rest with the wicked paint job. Kind of like GM did with making the RF edition white.

Yes, but the only thing that sets the RF edition apart is the paint. Isn't the GT3RS more than just a unique paint scheme?
The U.S. version of the GT3 RS is lighter than the base GT3, but not as light as the european version*, which is 44 lbs lighter. Both the european and U.S. versions have split rear control arms which permit more camber adjustment. The rear bodywork is wider and the wheels have less offset than the base GT3 which increases the rear track by 1.3 inches. The rear deck lid is plastic and has a carbon-fiber rear wing. BTW, the orange/black color scheme is a $3,000+ option.
The european version has a bolt-in roll cage, a Lexan rear window, single piece carbon-fiber seats and 5-point harnesses.
Euro spec (DIN) GT3 RS weight: 3,031 lbs. EMPTY weight (no fuel, passengers or luggage).
