Best SUV tires

I was wondering what the best SUV tires are? I have a Bravada, and am looking for all season performance. Currently, I have a set of Michelin Cross Terrain SUV tires on, and have been pretty happy with them, but would like something better if available. In the winter I frequently have to drive through snow and ice. I hardly ever drive off road, but rater I need something that will do well on ice especially.

Re: Best SUV tires

Those tires are more than adequate, especially if you have 4WD. Another option would be a light truck tire rather than a passenger car tire. Either way I would stick with Michelin for the purpose you describe if they are available in the sizes you need. If off-road potential was more of a desire then other brands become more viable and in fact desirable.

Remember, no matter what tires you have they won't help you stop much better on ice and snow. However, if you need more traction (more 'go') then chains are always an option, if allowable.
