Well, don't feel so bad. I picked mine up the day they came out. I will never grow up, I have had a blast with mine.
COD 2 is awesome, the only down side is the live part of the game does not allow the flexibility as Bungie does with Halo 2.

I got Perfect Dark Zero, Gotham Racing 3, Call of Duty 2, and Ridge Racer 6. PDZ is by far the best

Need a newer/nicer tv to jusify a 360. Just does not seem worth it to play it on a "regular old tv"..........ahh....priorities

Yup, they're still annoyingly difficult to come by. I finally got a Premium (at a 10% discount off retail, no less) a couple weeks ago. Had to think on my feet and concoct a convincing reason why I deserved being sold one of the units the store had on reserve for someone else. Fortunately, I came up with the right answers and now I'm battling the Third Reich in my family room.

As for always being a kid . . . I don't think owning this system constitutes a failure to grow up. Unlike the benign titles available for Nintendo Game Cube, I think the Xbox demographic is more the 18+ crowd who enjoy recklessly spraying bullets, blowing lots of stuff up, and generally wreaking excessive violence in a world where it's actually encouraged.

Last night I was playing Gun. I popped this tough-looking hombre in the face at close range with a shotgun. A big geyser of blood spurted straight up in the air as if it had been expectorated by a lava chute, and the guy's head exploded into a hundred flecks of skull. Better yet, I was in Quickfire mode and the whole thing was up close and in slow motion. I had a really bad day at the office yesterday. Tell me that wasn't pure catharsis.

Great system, even if there aren't nearly enough available yet.

Congrats on the new system! We got ours last month...right before we left to go out of town for Christmas!!! Just in time! With buying all the extra cordless controllers...I only got 2 games....Perfect Dark Zero and Need for Speed Most Wanted...was going to get Ridge Racer 6....what's your opinion on that one? Any other recommended games?

Got mine the other night just by luck. I was at our local mall and noticed that one of the customers in the the store I was in had a 360 in Wal*Mart bag. Picked up the premium system, PGR3, Madden and an extra wireless controller.

Haven't had much time to play but that's going to hopefully change this weekend.

Recently scored my own. I sold one on e-bay in the pre-Xmas frenzy and was starting to wonder if I'd ever get one for myself! Still hard to find in stock anywhere.

I'm playing PGR3 and PDZ. With just these two games I am not so convinced the XBox 360 is such an advance over the original XBox. Hopefully game developers are just not making the most use of the hardware yet. It is not bad, yes I can see some improvement, but the visual experience doesn't match my several-years-old PC playing Half-Life2 with detail set near maximum.

Congrats on the new system. I got one... er my daughters got one for Christmas from my brother (a MS employee) and we've been busy playing PGR3. Even more exciting is that I get to help develop the new Forza game. Sweet!
