I think DennyM is the only one who knows so I might as well tell the rest of you. I am going in for knee surgery (scope) on February 25th but more important is I’m having brain surgery on the 28th .
It’s a long story but to summarize I have steady ringing in the ears (Tinnitus) for the last two years and the doctors have been doing tests. A recent MRI revealed I have a very large and unusual located aneurism deep in the left side of my brain. This has nothing to do with my Tinnitus but it needs to be dealt with immediately. If this bursts my chance of survival is 10%. Due to the location of the aneurism they don’t know what the short or long term effects will be after the operation but they’ve pegged loss of sight in the right eye at 20% and a stroke at 14%. Where they come up these percentages I don’t know.
The good news is I’m in great physical and mental shape which should help in recovery time. I’ll be in the hospital for 4 day after surgery and will let ya’ll know how things work out.
