Hey guys just wanted to say hello. I am new to this forum, but I have read a lot of the post on here. I wanted to say that of all the forums I've read, both corvette and ford (I have 69 Mach 1), this is by far the most informative and well laid out/designed site I have ever seen. The amount of information and the respect/courtesy given between members made me want to be apart of this forum....well, that and the fact that sometimes I need quick info to get myself out of a jamb. Anway, just wanted to say that I look forward to being a part of this forum. Thanks

Glad you are here. Thanks for the good words. Looks like you'll fit right in.
I'm going to move this thread so it is more visible.
Thanks.

thanks a lot for welcoming me. I will have to start doing some more mods so I have something to talk about. This weekend I think I will do the front brakes and brake lines assuming all my parts come in. Let's see what kind of mess I can get into.
What does "do the front brakes" entail? pads? calipers? rotors? other?
Since you're putting lines on ... suggest you install them in bleeding sequence ... RR, LF, LR, RF (left being driver's side).
Yeah, I got the sequence off of this site from scanning other post. Please correct me if I get the name wrong, but "DJworm", I think it is, absolutely blows my mind in the amount of info he has....he definitly seems to be a great source of info. Anyway, I am just changing front rotors (good old NAPA replacements), hawk HPS pads, and installing goodrich brakelines with the AN fittines, and speedbleeders. Nothing too fancy, but I just like to wrench on things. I have never done this on this car before so if you have any tips for me let me know. I have worked on a lot of cars in the past, but I haven't messed with the brakes on this one before...they are still stock rotors and pads.
