Ok. I am fed up. I have heard enough back and forth of this crap. I want a straight out poll. FOR, AGAINST or DON'T CARE. Choose your standpoint.
I have been on a Canon Photography Forum, and it would appear that there are plenty of supporters for Gay marriages, and I am wondering if I am just out there flapping on my own, or I am on a forum that is flaming with a bunch of pansies who's sons or daughters got confused along the way, or they themself are a bit "confused".....
That's my standpoint. My own opinion. So, call me a BIGOT because I don't support gay and lesbian marriages. Honestly, I could care less, BUT, what's next? Adoption? Artificial insemination? And then what, raising a kid who wonders why the hell he or she has two mothers, or two fathers? And, why is Daddy in bed with Daddy? Kid walks in on them having unorthodox intercourse....."Daddy, what are you doing to Daddy?" I think its SICK, but cast your vote. I need to know if I am being close minded or I am not alone.....No need to put any comments unless you feel compelled.
ps....Case and Point: A woman I work with told us that her daughter has a girlfriend (both ages 11) who has "Two Mothers". At first she was a bit confused, and thought she meant a Mother and Grandmother or Aunt in the same household. But then realized she was trying to explain that, her daughter's friend had a lesbian couple as parents. Anyways, the "other" little girl wanted the co-workers daughter to sleep over. Trying to remain UNBIASED for both the childrens sake, she agreed. I mean, what harm could come of two children having a traditional sleepover, right? By 11 pm, her daughter called her to come pick her up. When she picked her daughter up, she explained that, while sleeping, the "other" little girl tried to get in bed with her. She also tried to snuggle up to her not just the ONCE, but TWICE! And when the co-workers daughter asked what she was doing, she said something like "My Mommies do this too" or something along the "Monkey See, Monkey Do" line. This is what made the co-workers daughter very uncomfortable to call her Mom to have her picked up. So, you tell me. I believe that, the "other" little girl finds this behavior as "normal" because she sees her two "Mommies" all snuggled up in bed, so...That is what she thinks is NORMAL! And my argument point is that, this type of same sex relationship twists innocent child's mind up because they will mimic what they see. I find this to be an unstable, unrealistic environment for any child to be in. But where can this fall with a legal standpoint? Protective Services? This CAN'T be normal! Am I wrong?

I believe same sex marriages are one of the most selfish acts that I can think of whenever a child is involved. They can talk all they want about providing a "loving relationship" to a child that would go otherwise unwanted through adoption or whatever BS story they want to tell. But what happens to the kid when the classmates start beating the crap out him because he's got two daddy's flaming %$#? Who feels the love there? All so the "parents" can fulfill their need to nurture.
I do not care what people do as long as they do not try to impose their beliefs on me...politics, religion, gay shit etc.

Ummm. You ARE kidding, RIGHT? I was referring to "MY OPINION" on NOT supporting it. I have issues with any homosexual in my presence. It offends me and makes me uncomfortable. So, if I don't like it, I can get up and walk away or whatever.... And I do not have to accept any of this garbage society tries to promote "equal rights" until the Equal Employment Office signs change to read "Race, Religion, Color, National Origin, Gender and Sexual preference".... Yeah, too bad that don't work both ways. I can't remember the last time I saw a straight pride parade, and if TV was any indication of the state of America (or the world) then 2/3's of the relationships out there are either gay or bi-racial.

GR8 white refer to my post #7 to see where I stand. That being said I don't think you are a minority in the way you feel. You are a majority ,but this screwed up society has been beat into submission
w/ how they should act or feel. Everyone these days is afraid offend someone w/ their mainstream beliefs. Not only w/ this subject the minority can and does control the majority. Happens all the time the majority is too busy working to be involved w/ activism. I believe some of your buds here and some others sense your passion on the subject and are baiting you just to flare you up!! There is no way this forum is completely off base w/ the rest of the country on this subject. Actually this forum tends to be quite conservative. Like the rest of the country....
