Has anyone talked to Tom today? I have his cell # but it's kinda late. I'll call him tomorrow for sure.
Just got off the phone with him Steve. He sounds great and is REALLY happy to be home! We all just need to keep breaking his chops about not overdoing it! He's gonna be fine, it's just going to take some time, but I know he'll be good to go by Fest time!
Jimbo

Re: Prayers needed!
Back home finally. Don't know where to begin but I'll give it a shot.
Jimbo - Thank you for starting this thread. You have been a life long friend (since high school) to me and I cherish our friendship. My only regret is that I don't see or visit with you enough. I LOVE you brutha.
Speedrachet - Gary and Gwen. Thank you for your visits and I really enjoyed seeing you both. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And Gary, Jello will never taste the same (thanks Gwen).
Uvettya - Steve and MaryLou. Thanks for taking the time to visit me multiple times. I really enjoyed your company and that Corvette book is awesome.
Malcolm - What can I say but YOU ROCK. The visits and encouragement, the 63 split widow coupe model, Vette magazines and your printing out of the thread and all of the posts in a binder will be treasured forever (I even got updates). I must have read the book from cover to cover multiple times. Words cannot express my appreciation to you.
I could write and write about all of the posts and comments made here but I'll just say this the everyone:
"Like the Z06 being the best Vette yet" so are all of the people I have gotten to know and love on this forum. My family and I thank you for the prayers and thoughts.
The power of prayer and thought DOES WORK. There were times during this ordeal that was touch and go and I strongly believe that your thoughts and prayers made the difference. At one point in ICU they had to paddle me over 15 times to bring me back to the living.
Thanks again and as Jimbo said "there is light at the end of the tunnel" and as far as I am concerned, it is seeing my bud Jimbo and all of you at BG in September.
p.s. Norm - We got to go fishing in Canada again, I had a great time there Luv you brother.
In closing I won't miss the hospital but will miss the sponge baths.

The one time I was up, it was passed 8:30 and didn't think it would be appropriat eto come banging on the door that late. Either way, you were missed. Congratulations on a speedy recovery. Tak eit easy for a while....

I will, my daughter has cracked the whip on me and will make sure that I recover and do not try to rush things.
It's a good thing too!! Relax.....you have a lot of rest to catch up on before the Fest!!
Glad to hear that you are home and going real good!! Best to you buddy.
Tom, I can't tell you how happy I am right now knowing that you are home and OK. There is still work to do, but I know you have never been afraid of a little work.
Can't wait to see you in September bro, work hard between now and then so you are ready for fun and frivolity.
We love you bro, can't express how happy I am right now for you.
