Born & raised in Detroit. Spent most of my life in/around Detroit area.
Watched the Wings in the famous Olympia stadium back in the 60's, then Joe Louis Arena. Enjoyed seveal fine meals in Chelio's bar & grill. Toured Joe Louis arena with rare public access to the Wings locker room.....ahh the memories.

Oh, by the way, I'm rooting for the Wings.

Being down 3-1 going into tonights' game ....the Wings will probably win the Cup this time. But because of the youth of their stars I see several Stanley Cup's in the near future.

What a game last night, triple overtime win by the Pens to keep the series alive. Great hitting, great goaltending, great skating, passing and shooting. It was a truly great hockey game last night...

I do not have a dog in this fight, just enjoying the way these two teams go after each other...

I'll bet there's a bit more sweat flowing in Detroit after last night's amazing game 5 !! Both of these teams combine for a great matchup. You can't dislike either side. Very rare in pro sports these days.
