But there are some upsides. In the mid 90's when I was in college and the 'web was still relatively new I was worried about "things I didn't want" so I searche dup some STD statistics for North Dakota, where I was going to school. In the entire state there were no cases of herpes in the last few years, 10 cases of HIV, a few of this, a few of that, and a few hundred people that got the clap. For the whole state. I didn't worry much anymore.
I'm sure its gotten alot worse the last few years as these states seem to be upping the amount of welfare available, which will bring in all kinds of, well, "things you don't want" of both the human and infectious type.
10 years ago you could leave your house unlocked, car unlocked, and nothing would happen. Crime amounted to high school kids stealing radios, underage drinking, some drug use, and domestic violence. But again, it seems to me that welfare has gone up here and with it comes crime.
Socialism is the antichrist and the harbinger of sorrow for any society that adopts even any of it. And socialism/welfare is the ultimate demise of any democracy. Regardless of how brilliantly it starts or runs for a while, a democracy will inevitably regress towards politicians offering people free stuff in exchange for votes.
I didn't mean to get into that rant, but I did so there it is.

very true, off topic but true. Which is why we as a gearhead community (ie z06vette, corvetteforum, svtperformance and all others) should join the Ron Paul revolution and take back our country. Since it is our constitutional right to overthrow the government if we feel it to be unjust

That's what so freaking scary about Obama getting in the White House!
